ANGELS

The word "Angel" comes from the greek work "angelos", which through Hebrew translation means "messenger." Therefore, they are generally envisioned as a messenger or intermediary between mortals and the Divine. The term "Angel" is use specifically in the Western religions to distinguish benevolent spirits from malevolent spirits (also called demons). It is applied to a form of spiritual being who mediates between the realm of the Divine (God or the gods) and the world of mortals. This description of "Angels" refers to their function rather than to their being or nature. They are frequently pictured as ministering to men in art. John Calvin, in his book Institutes of the Christian Religion, said: "Angels are the dispensers and administrators of the divine beneficence toward us. They regard our safety, undertake our defence, direct our ways, and exercise a constant solicitude that no evil befall us."

The role of the Angel is elaborated more fully in the religions based on revelation, such as the Zoroastrainism, Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. Where these religions emphasize the distance between mortals and the divine, they have the greatest need for an intermediary between the two. While in the polytheistic and monistic religions the gap between the two is less pronounced. There does exist a spiritual being similar to Angels, which exists to help individuals achieve a proper rapport with the gods and spirits. In the Hebrew scriptures, as in the Zoroastrainism, Angels praise and serve the Divine. They reveal the Divine truth, and act as extensions of the Divine's will, rewarding the good and punishing the wicked. They help mortals understand the Divine and they conduct the souls of the righteous to heaven. The Christian religion, like the Hebrew, sees Angels as the messengers and ministeries between mortals and the Divine. They see the Angels as being activily involved in the daily lives of Christians. They are seen as presiding over the sacraments and are therefore present at the most significant moments in a Christian's life. They will announce the Last Judgement and separate the just from the unjust. Angels help Christinas achieve salvation in countless ways, no service is beneath them. They carry the prayers to the Divine, they offer strength, and comfort to the faithful.

GUARDIAN ANGELS

Guardian Angels are thought to be spiritual beings that are "assigned" to assist people here on Earth in various ways. Whether there is one angel per person, one angel for several person or several angels for one person is open to question. But whether you believe in them or not, or whether you want one or not, believers insist that you do have a guardian angel.

What is their assignment? According to "Encounters of the Angelic Kind" at Future365 (now defunct), "they intercept at many junctures in our lives and help wherever they can to make our lives run smoothly. Sometimes this is by inspiring a thought to spur us into action, at others it is to lend us super-human strength, such as in the case of a woman being able to lift a car long enough to free her trapped child. Or we hear of a runaway truck, with an unconscious driver at the wheel, inexplicably swerving sharply at the last moment to avoid a bus stop queue of people. In fact, there are many instances, which are often put down to luck, coincidence or even a miracle, but which have the touch of a hand of light behind it."

So why don't angels come to a person's aid every time it's asked for? Sometimes, the article contends, "angels must stand back, whilst giving loving support only, as we work things out for ourselves - these are the times when we feel alone, the dark before dawn."

In Catholicism guardian angels are believed to be intelligent spiritual creatures assigned to care for and protect every person on earth. Each person has a guardian angel throughout life. These angels are to assist the person in attaining his eternal salvation. They can act as emissaries between the person and God.

Also, these angels protect groups of persons and nations.

Others refer to these guardian angels as guiding spirits who control or guide and particularly help in personal safety. Sometimes they are referred as the "doorkeeper" of the medium.

Firstly - You already have contact with your guides. It may not be on this physical level but rather in other altered states of awareness.

Thirdly - It could be through obe state where you go to a special landscape of both your choosing and discuss things and to learn. They take you to these landscapes and you become pure energy as they are. Here they can do healing work and also have a special kind of physical contact.

There are different types of guides.

There are guides that you knew in a past life that have decided to stay back this lifetime and aid you in your journey. These guides have already learnt the lessons you are facing this lifetime and act of teachers for you to learn your lessons this lifetime. There are guides that come from other planets, dimensions, and realms that you once traveled with and experienced lessons in your past journeys. These guides still have the appearance, wisdom and understanding of your past life you lived. These guides aid you in remembering how important your journey is and help you to integrate your previous knowledge here on earth. These guides cannot effect changes on the physical because they are not physical beings. They can only offer you advice and wisdom. You need to go to them through astral travel to connect.

There are angels, shape shifters, sorceresses, witches etc that are dedicated to helping you create your dreams and goals, offer you protection, understanding and healing. Only a certain group of angels and guides have the power to effect changes on this level. There are good and bad in this section. Though in truth, in the higher realms good and evil does not really exist. More they are simply different types of energies that a soul integrates and learns from.

There is also a telepathic link to your soul group, family etc. This telepathic link enables you to keep in touch with your family. They may be existing here on earth or on other planets, dimensions and realms. This link enables you to keep in touch and also offer and receive wisdom and guidance. As they and you learn their/ your wisdom, they / you share this wisdom with you/ them. That is why many people wake up and discover they know something they did not know the day before. Your group collective share with you knowledge and your soul integrated this knowledge.

There is a group of souls that are dedicated to sharing and teaching all the souls in this universe. These beings do not become close and or attached to you or your life personally. Rather they simply offer assistance without interference. These beings can be accessed at any time and work in our subconscious and as you grow in understanding can even be channelled in the physical. They are excellent communicators in the dream state. There are simply spirits that float close to this dimension that offer friendship, even love, advice and if they can, healing and protection. These spirits simply attach themselves to you and your quest. Maybe they experiences simular experiences and wish to help. As I said earlier, you already have contact with these beings. You have to bring your awareness and focus to how you are communicating with them. Through meditation, you are able to open your channels up and remember and see your guides. It takes sometimes time and practise. Although many people these days are reaching their guides quickly.Make yourself comfortable...

Take slow, gentle breaths in and out through your nose...

Feel the air going into your lungs, feel the air releasing from your lungs......

Breathe in, breathe out... Breathe in, breathe out...

Place your focus and attention only on your breathing...Feel your body begin to relax...With each breath you take in, feel all the tension sift away from your body, leaving you calm, relaxed and peaceful...Your thoughts drift in and out through your mind...Let them flow until your mind is calm...Place a white protective bubble of energy around your whole body. This bubble protects you from any negative thoughts and energy...

Breathe in, breathe out. Breathe in, breathe out....Relax your body, relax your mind...Do not allow any noise hinder your meditation. Make it a part of your relaxation....

Place your focus and intent on wanting to reach first your own personal guides. Create a place where you can visualise in your mind and later obe to. Your guides can take on any shape. So at this point create how you would like your guide to look. In time they will take on their own form. But for now, you can control the physical features. For your first contact. Simply have a list of questions you want answered. Please understand the information may take days to filter from your your higher self down to your physical being. It is important you keep a diary of any changes that commence after these meditations. Once you have reached a certain level of understanding and control with this form of contact. Your natural ability to contact your guides will filter through.Spirit is constantly offering us signs and omens in our lives. But, we are often so blind to them. It is not necessary to be a professional "psychic" in order to receive information from Spirit. All of us, all the time are given signs from God, from the world of Spirit. These signs are usually ignored, or thought of as "just a coincidence."

When you ask your Spirit Guides or Angels or God a question or for guidance, you WILL receive an answer. Do not feel that unless you have fantastic visions or hear a booming voice in your head that you plea has not been heard. All questions are heard and all questions are answered. It may not happen immediately, but it will happen. When you ask a question of the Higher Powers, expect that you will receive an answer. But don't sit around waiting for it. Go about your life, and be open to receiving your answer.

Spirit works in many different ways to reach us. If Spirit knows that we are not ready to receive answers in a telepathic or clairvoyant way, they will find other means to reach us.

The signs, the omens, the guidance is all around us, all the time. All we need do is open ourselves to receiving it. Look around your world, really look at it, pay attention. Do not go about your life blindly.

Some examples of the many different ways that Spirit gives us an answer or sign may be:

The first song you hear when you turn on the radio. Or a song that keeps repeating in your head over and over. You know that song that you "can't get out of your head." You turn on the television and someone is speaking about the same concern that you are having.

You overhear a conversation between other people that has meaning to your condition.

You may see or hear something repeatedly. An example is constantly seeing the number "11". You may see "11" on a clock, a label, a license plate. Seeing "11" many times means that something spiritual is happening or about to happen in your life.

You open to a page in a book and your eyes fall upon a paragraph that has meaning to your current situation.

Maybe you are fretting about a situation with another person, and you decide you are going to call them and "have it out". But, every time you dial their number they are not home or the line is busy. This could be Spirit telling you that now is not the right time to talk about the situation. Or, perhaps you are not in the right frame of mind to talk to that person. Possibly you don't know whether or not to talk to someone about an issue and the phone rings and it's the person you were thinking about.

Signs often come from the animal world. Maybe every time you leave the house, a crow flies by and caws, or you constantly see two squirrels chasing each other.

You are about to buy something that you really desire, but don't necessarily need. When you go to pay, your credit card mysteriously won't work or you will have forgotten your checkbook. Spirit could be telling you that the item is not beneficial for you, or it could be that the purchase could put a stress on your finances.

You're in a hurry to get somewhere, you're racing along in your car, and every light you come to is red. You would probably start cursing and driving even faster. But, perhaps Spirit is telling you to slow down. Maybe you are being told to stop and think about your actions. Maybe Spirit is trying to prevent you from having an accident.
Don't have expectations and don't read into things. Just ask for guidance and allow it to happen. Not everything you see or hear is a sign. But, if you are open and receptive, the signs will be clear. Through practicing the act of asking for guidance and following it, you will soon understand when you are receiving an answer from Spirit and when you are not. The more often you ask for guidance and follow the guidance given, the stronger the connection will be, and the guidance and symbols will become much clearer.
Many signs from Spirit will come in a way that you will easily relate to and understand. If you receive symbols that don't instantly "click" with you or you are unfamiliar with, then get a good book on symbolism. For example, we often receive signs from the animal world, but if you are not familiar with the character of each animal you may miss the sign or misunderstand it. In this case, you could find a book on animal symbolism and look up the animal that is showing itself to you. After a while, you will develop your own personal symbolism. For example, if you constantly see a squirrel burying food in your yard and soon after you receive a little money, it could be your sign that when you receive extra money you should store it away for the future. Don't always rely on a book to interpret a sign for you. Books on symbolism are good resources, but ultimately it is what the symbol means to you that is most important.

One of the oldest forms of divination or seeking guidance is "bibliomancy." Originally, one would hold the Bible and ask for guidance on a personal issue. Then you would open the Bible at random, and without looking, place your finger on the page. Reading whatever passage you pointed to would provide the guidance you were seeking. You can try this any time and you don't have to use the Bible. Pick any book that is inspirational to you. Hold the book in your hands, ask God, your Spirit Guides, your Angels to guide your hand to the right page and passage to answer your question. When you feel ready, pick a page, point to a passage and read it. See how it relates to your issue. You'll be surprised how often the answer is right there, "at your fingertips."

If you ask for guidance, if you ask for a sign, it will be given. Be patient and be open to receiving the guidance. So often, we ask for a message from Spirit and then are disappointed that we didn't receive guidance in some "fantastic" way like flashing lights or neon signs. Be secure in knowing that if you ask for guidance, it will be given, always. But, you must be open to receiving the message in any form.

Remember that your guides and angels are always around you, ready to assist you. But, they can not and will not interfere with your life. That is not their role. You must invite them in, you must ask for their guidance, then they are more than happy to help you in any way they can.

Start today. Communicate with your Spirit Guides and Angels, even if you cannot see or hear them. Ask them for guidance on an issue that concerns you. Ask them to show you a sign to guide your way, and then be open to receive their guidance
