MY PSYCHIC WORLD

MEDITAION

Meditation is a relaxed state of mind, but at the same time has to be focussed and alert. Your consciousness should be controlled, and do not allow your mind wander. Stay calm and stay aware.

                                                          WAYS TO HELP YOU RELAX

FIND A SUITABLE AND CALMING PLACE

 LIGHT SOME SCENTED CANDLES

 PUT ON SOME RELAXING MUSIC

TAKE A WARM BATH WITH RELAXING SALTS

 WEAR CALMING COLOURS

Now clear your mind of all things negative and begin to relax and stay aware. Listen to the gentle relaxing music, watch the light of the candle gentley flicker. Make sure you are wearing loose clothing. Your posture sholud be perfect, sit with your back straight. Support your arms, rest them on the arms of your chair or on your legs whilst crossed. Control your breathing, this is very important. Count your breathes per minute. Breathe in and out slowly. Continue to control your breathing for a few minutes. Now that you are controlling your breathing, and you are relaxed imagine that your legs and arms are heavy. You will begin to feel tense, remove this tension from your body by controlled breathing.

Now you should be completely relaxed yet still aware. Begin to count your breaths as you inhale and exhale. Deep but easy and slow breaths. In your minds eye, imagine you are at the beach, you can feek the sun against your face, and you can hear tthe gentle waves of the ocean. You can feel the warm sand in between your toes, and the cool sea breeze against your body. Ignore everything else around you and focus on you at the beach, the cool air,the warm sand, the waves.

Slowly increase your breathing, open your eyes. Stay in your relaxed state. Slowly move your hands, and your feet.

Now you can get up, and it feels great..Believe me.

This is fantastic for people who have alot of stress in their lives. Take 20 minutes out and relax, you deserve it.
